Precis: In this humorous column, Bill O'Reilly asserts that Martha Johnson's overspending is just as bad as Obama's government spending in order to show how Obama isn't able to keep his government agents under control and that's why the nationl deficit has gone up so much during his presidency.
Personal Commentary: This incident is a perfect example of how Obama isn't keeping his government officials under control. If he isn't able to watch over the whole government then what is the point of him being the president? He needs to keep everything under control so they deficit doesn't increase any more.

Precis: In this straightforward column, Bill O'Reilly claims that Mitt Romney needs to look over the mistakes Rick Santorum has made with over-answering questions the media talked about and asked him in order to avoid loosing votes in the presidential race.
Personal Commentary: While Rick Santorum did make is mark with American citizens, it wasn't a positive one. When he should have stopped his answers to the media he just kept going. And that was his mistake. And it is a good idea for Romney to look over these questions because the media will definitely ask him similar questions.

Precis: In this critical column, Bill O'Reilly claims that conservatives are more generous when it come to donating money to the poor than liberals are in order to show how the poverty issue is going to be a big deal in the next presidential election and the moeny should be donated rather than taken out of the rich people's pay checks.
Personal Commentary: I think O'Reilly is right that the rich shouldn't be taxed more, but i don't think he can assume conservatives give more than liberals. He stated that a Google research study shows that statement, but I feel like that is attacking the democratic party a little too harshly. If they give money, then that's great. It doesn't always need to be a competition. I understand that that's what politics is, but I feel like that was a little too much.

Precis: In this dramatic column, Bill O'Reilly asserts that while rich people have lots of money, he doesn't mind paying more taxes to help the poor as long has he knows what his money is being used for, which Obama hasn't done, in order to show people the different view points of the two parties. Personal Commentary: I understand why Obama wants to tax the rich one percent, but he does need to tell them where their money is going. People don't trust him because they don't know where their tax money is going.

Category: Column
Precis: In this harsh column, Bill O'Reilly claims that the presidential campaigns are very boring and include rediculous topics that aren't true in order to promote people to stop adding to the "tedium" in the campaigns.
Personal Commentary: O'Reilly really just let his heart out in this one. I mean I understand that he thinks it's boring, but wow. He criticized the little things; he didn't even hit the big issues, I guess because they're intersting? Well, he was a little too much heart on this one and not really enough professional.

Precis: In this thoughtful editorial, Lincoln Caplan claims that Louis Pollak's contribution to law has been tremendous and needs to be remembered in order to keep his tradition of treating everyone failry and justly.
Personal Commentary: Caplan's editorial was really sweet. Pollak seemed like a really good man and he most definitely needs to be remembered. The way that they descrided him being able to view every case from every senario and side is something that a lot of lawyers and judges should be able to do as well.
Precis: In this critical column, Mary Sanchez asserts that the controvery over interacial marriage is the same controvery over same-sex marriage and that the law should let lesbians and gays get married in order to let everyone have the freedom to marry who they like and not to deny people's civil rights.
Personal Commentary: I really don't like this topic. It's so controversial. It's hard to take a side because it's against the Bible and what God says, but then God made everyone so I really don't know how to react to this controversy.
Precis: In this sharp column, Mary Sanchez claims that student-athletes need to be treated like a normal student is-- trying hard to get good grades and if not, fail the class-- and not have their grades changed just so they can play in order to have those students learn how "real life" works and for them to work for their grades to be able to play in their sport.
Personal Commentary: School always comes before sports, whether in high school or college. If you don't pass then you don't play. The student-athletes should be working harder to keep up the grades because they are the ones representing their school. They don't need special treatment.
Category: Column Precis: In this bitter column, Charles Blow asserts that Mitt Romney's "apology" to his bullying in high school was not sufficint and when he was interviewed he should have gone more on the topic of bullying in order to help get himself more votes, but failed to do so.
Personal Commentary: People go too far on these stories about the president and Romney. They blow up these really old stories that aren't relevant anymore to try and hurt the opponent. We really need to grow up and concentrate on the important issues, not issues of the past.

Personal Commentary: I think it's cute that the Beach Boys still have concerts. As a teenager, I'm not as concerned about the economy and all that as parents are and I'm sure going to a concert ets them relax a little and have fun.
